About the Role
We’re looking for a Finance Lead to take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensuring smooth cash flow, accurate payments, and adherence to financial policies. This is a decision-making role — you will approve vendor payments, payroll (after verification), and operational spending within defined limits.
You will work closely with the Founder and Internal Auditor to keep finances accurate and transparent.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily and weekly inflows/outflows across all locations
• Approve vendor payments, petty cash, and operational expenses within set thresholds
• Prepare payroll for execution after verification from HR / Ops
• Maintain and update financial trackers (Notion / Excel / Sheets)
• Collaborate with auditors to reconcile accounts and implement controls
• Provide weekly and monthly financial reports to the Founder
• Flag and escalate financial risks or unusual trends
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting (preparation only; strategic decisions are Founder-led)

Requirements
3+ years experience in finance operations, accounting, or bookkeeping
Strong Excel / Google Sheets / Notion skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Experience in service or retail businesses preferred
Trustworthy, reliable, and able to make independent decisions within guidelines
Comfortable following SOPs and enforcing financial discipline
Bonus
Experience with internal controls, auditing, or POS systems
Familiarity with multi-branch operations
