About the Role

Daily Oversight

• Ensure both branches adhere to SOPs (hours, reporting, customer service)
• Confirm all appointments and walk-ins are being handled professionally
• Conduct monthly audits (in-person/remote) for inventory, cleanliness, and staff compliance.
• Review and approve daily opening/closing checklists from each branch

Staff Management
• Hold weekly check-ins with all managers
•. Track KPIs (sales, customer reviews, stock turnover) and report to CEO weekly.
• Approve staff time off, leave schedules, and shift rosters
• Monitor and enforce dress code and conduct rules
• Address conflict resolution and HR-related escalations

Customer Experience
• Review complaints, DMs, WhatsApp messages and Google reviews
• Call back key clients weekly for feedback and retention insight
• Ensure before-and-after pictures are submitted for every client (especially during probation)
• Resolve escalated customer complaints within 24 hours.

Reporting & Accountability
• Collect and analyse weekly performance reports (bookings, repeat clients, team performance)
• Escalate operational issues to Founder promptly
• Ensure proper client data tracking for retention and service feedback

Financials
• Work with Accountant on:
• Weekly sales reports
• Petty cash and procurement requests
• Payroll input from attendance sheets and deductions
• Flag suspicious patterns in deductions, earnings, or late closures
• Identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., bulk purchases for both branches)

Recruitment & Training
• Organise trials and interviews for beauty service applicants (e.g. lash techs, nail techs)
• Coordinate onboarding and probation tracking for all new hires
• Create and enforce staff handbook and operations manual
• Address underperformance: Create improvement plans for managers/teams.
• Train managers on leadership, conflict resolution, and reporting.
• Ensure all staff complete onboarding SOP training.

Inventory & Supplies
• Ensure stock levels are tracked and replenished timely
• Approve procurement and liaise with preferred vendors
• Audit use of tools/products and flag wastage or theft

Requirements


  • 3+ years in multi-location retail/beauty operations.

  • Strong data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets) to interpret sales reports.

  • Leadership experience (managed teams of 5+ people).

  • Problem-solving mindset (e.g., fixed a high staff turnover issue).


  • Experience in Ghana/Nigeria markets.

  • Familiarity with beauty/skincare retail.


  • Proactive (anticipates issues before they escalate).

  • Diplomatic (handles conflicts between branches calmly).

  • Detail-oriented (spots discrepancies in reports/inventory).
